Father's Day was a pretty good day this year. We celebrated with Tony and Brock's family, first. We had a great lunch with everyone and got in a good Sunday nap. Then we drove down to Farmington to hang out with my whole family. Mo & Chantz came down from WY, so we were all actually together to get a family picture. It didn't turn out as good as I hope, so we'll be getting another one here soon! (Thanks to teenagers who don't cooperate....and a husband who won't smile for pictures). I made Chris a little scrapbook on photoshop and had each of the kids write something in it. The theme of the book seemed to be that our lives have all been blessed by Chris, and the peace and joy he has brought back to our family. Although I definitely think about my dad a lot on father's day, this father's day wasn't a sad one. It's the first happy one I've had in a long time, and that's because I have an excelent role model and friend in my step-dad. That's something I am so happy to be able to say! I love you Chris, and thank you for all you have done for my family and me!
